The Dominant Chord is the key to understanding many of the changes you hear while playing

Remember the dominant chord is played by playing the 1, 3, 5, and flat 7…..

So if the one happens to be G, then G dominant or G7 would be G, B, D, and F  (remember F# has to be changed to F)
