Your Right Hand will Play

D, Eb, Bb then D, Eb, Bb then C, Eb, Bb then D, Eb, Bb

Your Left Hand will Play

1st time: Eb, then C, then Ab, then F

2nd time: Eb-Bb, then C-Bb, then Ab-G, then F-Eb

Remember you need to play the Right Hand and Left hand together

Tips:

You are playing 2 notes in the Left Hand the second time, it may feel strange at first. Use you pinky to play the bottom note, and your thumb to play the top note.

As you do this more and more it will start to feel more and more comfortable after a few weeks

  2. Anthony Lawrence Jr says:

sounds like this is in the key of Eb major but why is it that the Ab doesn’t sound right when trying to play a melody or improvising?

    1. Chevonne says:

It may be because, in the key of Eb major, Ab is the natural 4th. While it is technically “in the key,” it can often sound dissonant or “sour” when held over an Eb major chord because it creates a half-step tension with the G (the major 3rd). Are you playing the chords that are listed in the slide?
